Yesterday was a good time. Started out with lunch at Chilli's with the parental units. Then we went to the Overland Park International Trade Center for "Christmas in July," which involved a bunch of arts & crafts stands, etc. We saw Amy from Art By Amy, whom we've known for an entire lifetime. My mom used to love Art By Amy and so did Shelley. And I had her clothes and so did Becca, etc. So it was nice to see her again. :)
Then I chillaxed at the Morgens. Eventually, Jake, Aly, Grady and I went bowling and then played mini golf. I hate bowling, btw. I suck at it. And the guy wouldn't let us have bumpers. I want my money back! But I kicked ass at the mini golf, so that was chill. Oh and we went to Ben & Jerry's, which was delicious.
Back at the house, we watched Million Dollar Baby, which was an excellent movie. A bit of a downer, but definitely worth the rental cost. I recommend it. And then Grady, Jake, Aly and I watched Family Guy until 4 in the morning.
Got home around 9:30 and just woke up! MMM. Gotta love sleepovers. There were 7 kids there last night. Granted, the average age was prepubescent, but I still had a good time. Giggidy giddidy!
On tap for today? Food at some point, a softball game I'm undecided on, etc. And that's a wrap.
